Liberal Democrats have fought against the closing of local Post Offices for many years, believing that people should be put before profit. He is absolutely clear in his mind that the Labour government AND the Conservatives before them are part of the problem because of their short-sighted view of such services. “They are so quick with their rhetoric but slow with real solutions for relieving the siege of Post Offices”, says Reg, “making it very difficult indeed for the vulnerable to use the service”.
